As a response to my life-long passion for the dream world, I have created, adapted and teach a number of experiential modalities for catalyzing and enriching the dream lives of my clients, students, communities, family, friends and loved ones: Robert Moss’ Lightening Dreamwork Process, a paleopsychological performance process called Spontaneous Collective Dream Theatre, my own experiential therapeutic synthesis of dream tending and systemic constellations; Dream Constellations, a very special Community Dream Catcher Ritual and others. I am also committed on a personal level to engaging with my own dream life and engaging people everywhere whenever possible on the subject of dreams and dreaming.
I have been an active dreamer all my life, working with and within my dreams to better understand and navigate my waking experiences. I began training with world renowned dream healer, Robert Moss in 2004 in the Art and Practice of Active Dreaming and attained Certification as a Level II Dream Teacher in 2006.
The wisdom in the imagery and experience of our dreams can spontaneously unlock hidden potentials and catalyze higher states of consciousness.
Active Dreaming provides healing, creativity, and insight on all levels of being. Our dreams are a doorway into vast untapped resources that, when put into action in our everyday lives, can free us of limitations, attachments, stagnation, depression, or other challenges to a happy and fulfilling life. Paleopsychological Dreamwork is more than lucid dreaming, it is not dream analysis or interpretation ; it is a way to explore and mine your dreams for the wisdom you seek, to energize your creativity, solve dilemmas, practice for important moments, take a look at future possibilities or even foretell life-changing events through active, conscious involvement in your own dream-life.
I value greatly the dreams I’ve had over the years of fascinating meetings with dream teachers and mentors and the things I’ve learned in the contexts of various “dream schools”. I find very often that information coming through in dreams becomes practical and useful in my waking life through the application of various principles found in Active Dreaming. Sometimes the tools I gain are applicable right away, sometimes it takes as long as 20 years for the information to become relevant. This timeless and time-transcendent aspect of what Australian Aborigines call The Dream-Time fascinates me greatly.
Collectively, It is especially critical that we as a species reclaim essential dreaming traditions as a path to manifesting new ways of connecting with the world, our home, the earth, and its home, our universe. It is critical because our current way connecting with our home is wreaking havoc upon the earth and creating much suffering for her myriad miraculous species.
Our actions and what we manifest physically in the world through them are first manifested as a idea, as a dream, in an unmanifest world; the dreamworld, or what the South American Kogi call the Aluna. In light of the current state of the earth’s ecological health, and the level of suffering of sentient beings all over the world, we as a species must return our attention to the Aluna/Dream Time, and we must care for and maintain the portals that connect us as humans with the unmanifest world: our dreams.
We must learn to cultivate conscious INTENT like the ancient shamans of pre-historic and indigenous cultures worldwide learned to do. Our ancient ancestors knew, and our current indigenous cultures still know, how to interact with and learn from the dreamworld in ways that maintain its integrity, tend to their precarious balance with the manifest world and to understand how to provide themselves with what they need to live on the physical plane. For hundreds of thousands of years our ancestors’ only tool was that of consciousness, and that tool is still our best option. We as a species must re-learn what we have known, and what indigenous cultures still know, that all life and the universe are interconnected through manifest and unmanifest worlds, those of physical reality and those of energy and/or spirit which animate them.
